Rev. Beth Walker

Beth is skilled at creating community and a sense of belonging. Her passion is to create and to experience connecting our everyday life story to the ancient Biblical stories and faith traditions. Her ministry in the United Church both volunteered and paid, spans 15 years. Before that, she practiced interior design. She is a diaconal minister, a graduate of the Center for Christian Studies and Spiritual Director from the Pacific Jubilee program. She says her understanding of God comes from the abundant community at Fairfield and Moss. She experiences God in dialogue and through spiritual practice such as silence and the Healing Pathway.  She loves to have coffee with the folks – don’t be afraid to say hello!

“Come, come, whoever you are
Wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving – it doesn’t matter,
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come even if you have broken your vow a hundred times.
Come, come again, come.”

– Rumi, translated by Coleman Barks
